What is connectEDspace?

connectEDSpace is a website provided by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) to help you – young people – to help you get all the info you need to deal with the stuff you go through each day.

It provides knowhows (tipsheets), news and useful links to help you manage problems and issues such as bullying, relationships, stress and mental health, and conflict with parents. connectEDspace also lets you ask us questions, share your stories, do quizzes and take some time out with our connect-up game.

Who are we?

RAV is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation providing specialist family and relationship support services. We have no religious affiliations, and our services are for all members of the community, regardless of their religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, lifestyle choice, cultural background or economic circumstances.

Our vision is for positive, safe and respectful relationships for couples, families, schools, workplaces and communities.

How can we help?

Being young can be tough. It’s a time of lots of change – both physical and emotional - when you’re growing up and trying to find your place in the world.

When all these changes are happening, lots of other issues and tricky times can come up, such as trouble with your identity, challenging times at school, relationship and friendship difficulties, and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

The good news is there are heaps of resources and organisations around to give you the knowledge you need, and put in you in touch with people to help you get through these difficult times.

Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is one of these organisations.

We work with children and young people to help them to overcome the challenges they may face. We do this through a diverse range of support services that are there to meet your needs. Our services are for everyone - regardless of religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, lifestyle choice, cultural background or economic circumstances.

Counselling

Our counsellors can help you and your family through difficult life events, such as separation and divorce, experiences of family violence, mental or emotional health difficulties or any relationship issue that is worrying you or making you stressed.

We can work with you and your family in a supportive capacity to build informed solutions to the issues you are facing. This means that we talk to you about what you need, and help you to use your strengths to come up with ways to manage what you’re going through.

Specialised programs for young people

We provide services from 12 centres in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
